Illinois YMCA Youth & Government

First Registration Instructions & Checklist

All forms for First Registration are available on this site for you to download and complete. Paper forms will no longer be mailed to you.  If you have a problem with making copies, please contact the office.

Payments

First Registration and First Payment are both due on September 21st.  Although this is not a change, some advisors are still delaying payment, sending it after the forms.  Registrations will not be accepted without payment.  The state fee for 2007-2008 is $315, payable in two installments: $215 at First Registration and $100 at Second Registration.  Check with your local YMCA as they may have a different fee and/or payment schedule.

Quotas & Delegation Limitations

The Quota and Delegation Limitation Systems will continue in 2007-2008 with no changes. A yellow sheet with the correct numbers was sent to all Head Advisors earlier in August.

First Registration Forms

This year for the first time all forms are being supplied to you on the website.  You have several options, so please adhere to the following procedures and use the checklist below to ensure everything is submitted correctly.

Download All First Registration Forms - To download the forms, right-click (or Control-click on a Mac)  on the link and select “Save Target As…”

Forms for E-mail Submission

Forms to be Mailed

We are also supplying all student forms to you on the website.  It is totally your option how you utilize these electronic forms.  It is our expectation that some advisors will wish to make electronic copies of the student forms and e-mail them to your students (or have your students download them) so that they may complete their forms electronically.  However, advisors must then print all of their forms and they must be submitted on paper by mail.  As an alternative to mail, advisors
may choose to fax or scan and e-mail these paper forms.
